higgihaus Apartment 2 Clare Street Aparthotel

Do not stay in Room 2. Its like being in a dungeon. Its a massive shame as the facilities EXCEL Positive: Central Location and a fully operational kitchen. Comfy bed. Nice Towels. Great settee to watch the TV (Is only catchup stuff to save money on TV Licence) Fabulous clean almost new Bathroom with gushing hot shower. Negative: The combination at the front door did not work and another resident had been trying for 10 minutes. I got on the phone and it was rectified fairly quickly. The entrance hall is VERY dark. You will need a torch to input the second code that releases your key from the black box. It a bit like being in a dungeon. Windows opaque for obvious reason below. Disgusting view from the kitchen windos of Rusty AIR CON units. DONT CHOOSE ROOM 2 VERY steep stairs to bedroom. The risers are about 30cm and No handrail. It was a real struggle and pretty sure not legal in building Regs. There is a lamp not working in the kitchen and the sink in bathroom is blocked.

Positive: Staff on end of a phone line sorted out a problem with the door lock setting quickly.

Soggiorno piacevole.

Positive: Location is fantastic. Really modern decor was a pleasant change. Negative: The bed being to low! The four steps up to the bedroom are massive!
